This is an exciting opportunity for an account person to play a key role in building a new service in the fast growing programmatic media industry. We are looking for someone with a track record of success in digital advertising and in managing mid- to senior-level client relationships

Launched in Spring 2014, YieldexDirect is a platform that offers digital media buyers the opportunity to automate the purchase of premium placements on leading publishers such as CBS Interactive, Fox News, Kelley Blue Book, Tribune Properties and WebMD.  The successful candidate will help generate awareness and facilitate early client engagements and pilot programs.  Reporting to the General Manager (GM), the Client Services Manager must be flexible and comfortable working with a product in an emerging area.


  • Provide demos and business development support for General Manager
  • Develop, maintain and grow relationships with advertiser and agency clients
  • Expand relationships with clients to grow revenue and win repeat business after initial pilot
  • Ensure campaigns deliver smoothly and clients have a high level of satisfaction
  • Generate awareness for YieldexDirect in the media buying community.  The Client Service Manager will assist the GM and Marketing Director in developing YieldexDirect for Advertisers marketing plan and help in plan execution.  Responsibilities will include developing content and implementing customer relationship management programs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with advertisers, which may include media buying agencies, trading desks and brands
  • Align YieldexDirect solutions with client challenges and goals to maximize success of early engagements
  • Capture knowledge from client engagements to help inform product strategy and roadmap
  • Train new clients and develop programs designed to drive repeat usage
  • Help to establish and promote best practices and processes to ensure client support and communication is strong and client needs are always met.
  • Liaise with internal teams including product management, engineering, sales, marketing and legal to manage all aspects of our clients’ businesses

Desired Skills:

  • Experience building relationships and managing clients
  • Experience growing revenue partnerships at agencies or advertisers
  • 1+ years of digital campaign management experience
  • Experience onboarding new clients and delivering trainings
  • 1+ years digital advertising experience
  • Comfortable working in a new service, where roles will change frequently
  • Experience presenting in person and via webinar to clients and prospects
  • Interest in a career in sales is a plus
  • Experience with private marketplaces and programmatic direct is a plus
  • Experience using SalesForce, Act-On,, DoubleClick and Atlas is a plus

The Job:

The Yieldex Client Training Manager works with multiple Yieldex clients on the use of our publisher-related products and services, offering industry perspective, product knowledge, and best practices through in-person and webinar sessions. He or she will work to innovate and improve offerings to drive the Yieldex product adoption and training strategy.

The successful candidate will be able to work with product management and the services team to enhance the training curricula, staying current with any product release updates. They will be able to develop and keep current training content that can be used in webinar trainings, our client certification program, as well as online learning modules and client newsletters. They will maintain a relationship with internal and external stakeholders, communicating updates and program information on a regular basis.

The Job:
The Yieldex client success consultant works with multiple Yieldex clients as their dedicated resource for driving adoption and mastery of our data analytics platform.

They are responsible for providing expertise and driving adoption of the Yieldex product suite, while being expert ad serving industry resources to our client base. Candidates should have deep interest/expertise in the online media ecosystem. Experience working with ad servers, 3rd party data providers, online media order management systems, and yield management tools will be beneficial.

This position requires strong business acumen and the ability to set and exceed client expectations for success. The candidate will understand the client success metrics and apply technical and product expertise to ensure successful client adoption. Success will require strong communication and coordination with the client and internal engineering and product teams.

We’re Looking for Someone With:

  • 3+ years of technical experience in a financial, ad operations, yield management, client services, or other professional services role at an online publishing or technology company
  • Experience with advanced functions in Excel and working knowledge of relational databases
  • Ability to quickly grasp and understand technical specifications, problems and concepts
  • Outstanding attention to detail combined with an ability to see the big picture
  • Self-motivated, with an ability to work well independently
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to explain complex and technical concepts in a simple and straightforward manner
  • Ability to work on multiple high-priority tasks under tight deadlines
  • Strong work ethic, team-oriented attitude, and high integrity
  • Track record of building constructive working relationships throughout the organization
  • Travel to client sites as needed, less than 10%

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience in online ad operations, ad tech or SAAS
  • Experience with audience data and targeting
  • Experience with order management systems for the ad serving industry

Base requirements:

  • BA + 3 – 5 years of experience in digital media
  • 3 – 5 years minimum delivering or supporting digital media business or revenue operations
