Yieldex Announces BusinessIQ 2.0 Yield Management Platform
Provides online publishers with unparalleled analytics and insights to drive yield

NEW YORK, NY - November 11, 2010 - Yieldex, the leading provider of inventory and yield analytics solutions for digital publishers, announced today the release of Yieldex BusinessIQ 2.0 featuring an improved suite of advanced analytics. The new functionality extends Yieldex's current analytics capabilities by providing extreme flexibility in the way users can analyze and visualize their advertising inventory.

"We've been using the Yieldex platform to get deep visibility into our product availability," said Jay Wright, Revenue Management Group Leader of Cars.com. "Like many publishers, our product suite has many areas of overlapping inventory. Oftentimes, delivering on one sale will come at the expense of another, so product level forecasts simply aren't enough. BusinessIQ 2.0 provides visibility into these trade-offs that our other tools can't provide."

Yieldex BusinessIQ 2.0 provides one-click access to sophisticated visualizations that help sales, ad operations, inventory and finance users answer questions like:

  • Which products are sold through and which still have available impressions to sell?
  • What audience segments that I have not sold before, represent the greatest revenue opportunity?
  • What content areas/audience segments are generating the most revenue in my network, even if I am not selling them directly?
  • Which orders have the potential to under-deliver, even if they haven't yet started?

"The volume of data that digital media publishers have to contend with today is staggering. Each night, we process terabytes of data and billions of impressions on behalf of our customers," said Tom Shields, CEO of Yieldex. "The industry is in dire need of a business intelligence solution that can integrate large volumes of data from multiple sources and synthesize them into key analytics that will support better decision making. Our expertise in large-scale data integration and inventory forecasting analytics has positioned us well to become the end-to-end predictive business analytics platform for addressable media."

In addition to continuing to evolve its analytics capabilities, Yieldex plans on expanding its integrations with other providers to bring in additional data sources so that publishers can get a single, unified view of their business.
