Yieldex Captures Top Honors from CSIA
- "Rookie of the Year" Tops Dozens of Nominees for Prestigious Honor from Colorado's State Technology Association

Boulder, CO - June 10, 2009 Yieldex, the world's most advanced inventory management and forecasting platform for addressable media, today announced they have won the Rookie of the Year category at the 2009 CSIA APEX Awards. The APEX Awards, sponsored by CSIA, the Colorado Software and Internet Association, recognizes Colorado's leading technology companies and professionals aimed at fostering innovation and growth.

The Rookie of the Year award is presented to companies operating for 18 months or less. The companies are judged on wide-ranging criteria based on how effectively they created, promoted and advanced a new product or service. With more than 5,050 software companies currently employing more than 175,000 IT professionals across the state, Colorado is flush with software success stories, making this award well-earned.

"Considering the high caliber of the competition, we're humbled to have won this award," said John Barr, COO/VP Engineering for Yieldex. "We're tremendously grateful to our investors and partners, and the engineering team who've been working so hard here in Boulder. It's gratifying to see our hard work and dedication being recognized by the community and industry as a whole."

Yieldex also recently won the Amazon Web Services Start-up Challenge for their unique use of cloud computing to provide robust inventory analytics and forecasting and completed their Series B financing round with Madrona Venture Group and Amazon.com. In February, the company announced that Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia had selected Yieldex's BusinessIQ product, becoming its initial Pillar Partner.

"This year's winners demonstrate the success, innovation, leadership, and determination that are the core of Colorado's technology industry," said Su Hawk, President of CSIA. "Colorado is home to more than 5,050 software companies, and yet many people don't realize how large and successful this industry is in Colorado. So, our APEX Awards is an evening of recognizing the success stories because there are many right here in Colorado that need to be honored."
